Yangon, June 29, 2019 – CDSG held a special donation event at San Mya Thidar Nunnery and Monastic Educational School for its children, students and nuns. Donated items included cash, books, book shelve, clothes, toys, stationery, lunch and other materials for children, students and nuns, and they carried a total value of over MMK 7,000,000. Nearly, 300 employees from head office and business units actively participated in this event.
The event started with special donation event and it was followed by games organized for the children. Special lunch prepared for this event was then enjoyed by all children, nuns and CDSG staff.
U Ko Ko Gyi, Group Managing Director of CDSG, said “As the motto for today says: “helping hands for the future,” we are trying to support our community with this type of best effort. Children are the future of our society, therefore it is an important part of our CSR action to stay focus on the future of these lovely children.”
